A space to experience light, colour, shadow, reflection, fragmentation, mindfulness, embodiment and connection.

Pulling back the curtain to look into the space, the viewer is greeted by a warm light, walls patterned by shadows, and the Cloud Ceiling itself: a richly textured, reflective, tessellated fabric suspended and forming a ceiling to the space.

The warm, clear light represents the two sayings that the work represents: 'every cloud has a silver lining' and 'each storm has its rainbow' as the quality of light, although not strongly coloured, is reminiscent of light after a storm. The work promotes a positive state of mind through the sayings, as well as by the calming and uplifting effect of the experience and the increased awareness of embodiment, connection and mindfulness.
